FMIL- Wants to wear black.... Opinions

Ok, so I don't mind the color black, it is slimming. However, do you think I should mention to her that she will be wearing the same color as all the men and won't stand out. Also,... my whole entire side is wearing gowns, like to the floor. Should I tell her this? Or just let her wear what she has chosen? I don't want her to say I did not tell her.

While I don't think it's really earth shattering, I don't care for black at weddings...but no one really goes by that tradition anymore...you look around a wedding and probably 75% of the women are in black...
I went shopping with my mom last week, and she was adamant about not wanting to wear black...
BUT that said...with the exception of a big white dress...I'd probably keep my mouth shut about anything someone else wanted to wear...you never know when someone can get sensitive...
