ok ladies- my wedding is in November- my color are wine and silver- i saw my FMIL this weekend and this is what she told me she is wearing to the wedding!!!!

Yikes! Don't panic yet... you do have lots of time, and it's very possible she may find something more appropriate that she likes better. She may show it to friends, who will (hopefully) steer her in the right direction.
I like the suggestion of maybe saying that it might be a better fit for the rehearsal dinner... encourage her to really go all out, and not be afraid to wear something very special, since she is the mother of hte groom! Maybe that will encourage her to take the formality up a notch or two. And you can tag along for shopping. :)
I'm so sorry you're having to go through this, but all is not lost yet!

Yeah, that outfit isn't the best if FH tried to talk to her and it didn't work, try not to care...if she wants to look like that, let her, i say that's her problem...

I am going to talk to her in the next week- I live up state so when I go down next weekend maybe I can get a couple of people to go with me and take her out shopping all of us- maybe she will understand- I am taking the photo with me so she can see how it does not photograph well at all!!!

Okay, it's not my taste either but have some perspective! You're the bride. Everyone is looking at you. Your FMIL will be in a bunch of pictures, sure, but pictures of which you and/or FH are the focus. If she's happy, let her be. It will be the first in a long line of things you and your in-laws don't agree on, and now is NOT the time to make waves, especially over something as personal as fashion taste.
