One thing I was told was to never never complain to the family about your relationship with FH / DH. Any problems you have together are between you and him, do not involve the inlaws - JMO

Honestly, I agree with the others ....that is your FMIL's 'baby boy'

But then again....we don't know your FMIL and your relationship with her. Maybe you guys are cool like that. I can't do that with my FMIL - I can say a few things but when it comes down to it, that's 'her Tommy'!!!!

My FH is the same way I have to bug him constantly about helping me. And he wanted a Play Station I refused to buy it for Christmas for the same reasons you described.
