Is anyone wearing their FMIL's wedding gown? see, my parents were married, but b/c of $$ issues, my mom wore a nice white suit and dad wore a dress suit. so i saw a pic of FMIL's dress and it is beautiful. i know she would be thrilled if i wore it, but i'm wondering how my ownn mother would feel. thoughts?

I think that is a beautiful idea!!! I would wear my FMIL dress but it's a little dated...LOL

Why don't you try to approach your mother about the idea? If she really hates it, she may offer to pay for your dress. Just tell her that if it really bothers her you won't do it.

thanks girls. i think they would both go for the idea, and i know that my mom will pay for my dress - she paid for my sisters 2 years ago. and i know that if my mom gets upset by the idea, i will let it go, i want her to be happy, more then i wnat my fmil to be. thanks again.
