And even when my FH told her my mom was going to ask her back in Nov, She was like oh it's to early I might want to go to my cousins. So I think she didn't want to come and couldnt think of something. But she could have said Oh I'll let you know.

Thats really rude. Your parents are inviting the new family over so everyone is together. If she didnt want to come from the beginning, she should've said that she would let you know. And if she didnt know if there would be room, why not ask, its not like saying that is offensive in anyway. something is up!

I just got so mad cause when she asked my parents we were excited to go and everything. And we all had a great time. And now we though to invite them and it will be the same....well I guess not!! And now on xmas day that all I am going to think about....how much she really dosen't want to be there. And FH is telling me I am over thinking it and that she didn't mean anything about it and I should just forget about it. So I asked him is she going to do the same thing when we have our house and I invite her over?? Cause as of right now she isn't getting invited over!!!!

Aww. Things will blow over and try not to take it out on him. I agree that it was wrong, and i dont understand what her problem is. I would be acting the same way. But i'm sure FH doesn't want problems between his mom and you. It would make him uncomfortable for him.

I didn't even want him to say anythign to her in the first place. But he did. I was just telling him how i felt, and he ran back and told her. But he knows how I feel cause it happened to him with one of his friends not feeling welcome at his house for thnaksgiving and he got offended. and i told him that how i felt. and he tells me I am over reacting.

See I hate when ppl get shady out of no where! What is her deal? Ok if she's been to family events and over to your house then she shouldnt feel out of place. Tell ur mom to disinvite her! J/K

In all seriousness, I totally agree. If she has been to your house and parties/holidays before, then she shouldn't feel awkward. Some people act really weird sometimes.

MY FMIL was like this... at my NANAS FUNERAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She left and took the bus home form SI to Queens cause she felt 'uncomfortable.' So the f*ck what???? I was 'uncomfortable' when I met you. This is your family and going to be hers... so she needs to get over it!!!!
