Sorry for the dumb questions but what exactly is this? from posts I´ve read is seems to have religious ties and seems like a test to make sure you´re communicating well. It seems interesting but how does it work?

Re: FOCUS
Foccus is basically a communication opener given by some parish's. I supplied a link^. The 'test' has no right or wrong answer and the church will NOT not marry you over the results. Its just to make sure that the couple communicates on all aspects of married life. The 'test' is broken up into sections. There are additional sections for couples who live together, have children, etc.
'scoring' is based on how many questions are answered the same, there are 3 'answers' 'agree, disagree, n/a'. Some of the questions are confusing, the way they are worded and there are a lot of questions that are asked several times, using different words.
FH and I didn't want to do it, and honestly it wasn't a big deal. We laughed about it after the 'test' and after the results.
hope that helps.
