I was going to do a mass, but my date is the solumnity of mary so I cant chose my readings - the readings will be the ones chosen for that day. What would you do?
it depends on the readings, do u know what they are? do they fit what u want? if they do then i don't see a problem with it

i wouldnt do a mass.. too long IMHO

To me, it doesn't matter what the readings are... those people could be reading the Farmer in the Dell, and I wouldn't know any different... I'm only going to pay attention to the vows.
if it turns out to be not the best of readings, i would either do 1) change my date if the full mass is important or 2) just do a ceremony for that day
