Are placecards generally supposed to be in a script or print-type font? I am using Edwardian Script for my programs, but I am concerned that people might have a hard time reading the placecards if they are in a script-type font. My aunt already told me that she can't read my programs in the Edwardian Script font.

Re: Font for Placecard
I don't think it really matters but I would definitely use one that everyone will be able to read. It is usually darker too in the RH which could make it even harder for the older guests to read.

Yes I would use a non script type font for legibility. If you decide to go with a curvy style, maybe adjust the font size so its larger and easier to read!

Monotype Corsiva. It's italicized but readable. I used Edwardian Script for the cover page of the program and the MC for the inside text.

I think you can do any kind of font as long as it can be read, I think we used Avalon

Re: Font for Placecard
Good question. We stayed away from script for our invitations b/c its hard to read, will probably do the same for placecards.
