We're meeting with the Crescent Beach Club this weekend to plan the menu. I've heard all of the food there is good. Is there anything particular that stood out in your mind that we should consider choosing for the menu? How are their cakes (taste and presentation)? Any recommendations for type of cake/fillings?

I really don't you can go wrong with any of their selections. Their food is delicious. For our entree's we picked Filet Mignon with cabernet sauvignon sauce with wild mushrooms
Parmesan dusted swordfish with a citrus buerre blanc
Stuffed chicken breast with mozzarella and prosciutto
Our cake is vanilla cake with chocolate mousse with rasberry infusion
Also instead of the intermizzo (sorbet before the entree) now you can replace that with a banana foster station.
I am so excited and I know the food is going to be wonderful.

were you able to do an actual tasting? (aka free food ?? were you also able to suggest some items?

i asked for tasts testing but they said they don't do that and that if i wanted to taste i should go eat in the restaurant....hmmm....i've heard all good things about the food there....let me know how the menu comes out...i have a long way to go to do mine.....how did the cake process turn out....they make your cake..right? do you have a lot of input on it?
