I think they both have great food
I got married at wcc and everyone raved how good the food was. I have been to several weddings at wm and never disappointed except for a wedding about 20 years ago :)

Is the food presentation any better at either one? Also I seem to remember that the westbury manor has oval tables. I forget what the WCC has. Does anyone have an opinion regarding oval vs the round tables? I am trying to decide between the two of them. At the westbury I would have the downstairs garden room At the WCC it would be the downstairs garden suite. Any difference with the type of service? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I know about 10 people who have been to events at WCC, and everyone of them has raved about the food. My parents are by far two of the pickiest people I have ever met, and they said the food at WCC was delicious - mom said the bruschetta was the best she's ever had! We looked at both WCC and WM, and while the grounds of WM are absolutely gorgeous, we hated the CH room. When we were there, a wedding was taking place, and half of the guests were inside, and half were outside, because the CH room couldn't accommodate everyone! ![]()
As for the type of tables that WCC has, they offer both round and oval. We are using the Mills Room (upstairs) and we're definitely getting the round tables. I personally prefer the look of round tables over the oval.
Regardless of which hall you choose, you will be getting impeccable service, and delicious food. Go with the one that gives you 'the feeling.'![]()

I got married at the wcc and we had round tables in the downstairs room. The service was very good our matre'd was not the greatest but everyone had a great time.
You may want to go over the cocktail hour set-up at the wcc - if it is chilly on the day you get married. They had 2 heated tents set up for me - we had over 200 people - be sure to discuss this with them.
Good Luck and pick where ever you see yourself spending the day celebrating your marriage.

I have been to the WCC but when I was young so I cant remember the food but I am gettting married at the WM. The food is out of this world. You can try out the food at their restuarant, the Polo Lounge. They serve the same food at the reception dinner as they do in the restuarant. I am having an outdoor wedding (weather permitting), FH and I love that, but if it rains thats fine bec my CH will be in the Garden room/library, which are really beautiful, so thats a plus either way. I am having oval tables, I prefer oval 100 % over round tables, I just feel that the oval tables flow nicely in both rooms. Both are pretty places, which one do you picture yourself in?

I too was torn between the two....I chose wcc because I loved thed outdoor ceremony area. I have heard great things about the food at both places. i don't think you can go wrong with either!

i have been to 2 weddings at Westbury Manor and 3 weddings at Woodbury Country club.. and I can say.. out of all of these times.. Westbury Manor was WAYYYYYY better and personally I think the rooms are Much nicer at WM.
I personally like round tables.. with 10 at a table so people aren't claustrophobic.. and with ovals.. the person who is sitting on the curve isn't that comfy.
