Does anyone have one of these? When we were registering we saw the sealer at BBB but didn't register for it. Now I saw this vaccuum sealer on TV and it looks really cool.
FH said I'm not aloud to get it until I found out if other people have it and how it works. He doesn't think I'll use it b/c I usually buy stuff I don't use

We have a Foodsaver. We love it. It works great. The only thing it doesn't seal well is something with liquid.

I have one and I love it!!! It works great. I make something one night. Put it in the bag. Freeze it. Take it out like 2 weeks later, heat it and eat it. It still tastes fresh. Go ahead, tell your FH you can get one

We got one at lowes that was much less expensive then the BBB one (I think it was less then $50). It's sometimes a pain to pull out but I think it really makes a difference when freezing meats - no more freezer burn!
The ones we have can also be used to reheat in boiling water which I love for pasta dishes, the microwave always makes pasta taste a little funny to me.

I LOVE this idea since it is only FH and I that live in the apartment and we ALWAYS have leftovers. This idea has been out for at least 20 years. My grandma had one YEARS ago and it was called the 'Seal a Meal'. I didn't register for mine because it was very expensive and I know I can get it off a website for a lot cheaper.

We registered for it! I REALLY REALLY wanted it but we didn't get it (yet). Maybe someone will buy it as the wedding gift. FSIL has it and it works great.
