Food Tasting

Ok, so I asked FH to call the RH and make an appt for a food tasting with both of our parents and he does, which was great..one less thing for me to do.

BUT then he tells me 'the guy said we have to dress up'. So I say... 'Why?' And he says 'there's a wedding going on when we go..' I tried to find out EXACTLY what the Bm said...but FH keeps changing what he thinks he said 'dress to impress', 'dress nicely', 'get really dressed up'

Great...so do I have to dress like I'm going to a wedding? Or is black pants/nice shirt okay? What do you guys think?

I've only seen one other girl on here so far getting married on 8/23/08.

Hmm...is it at night? I would think black pants would be fine. I never heard of going to a food tasting while another wedding is going on...so will you be sitting with all the wedding guests?

I wouldn't want strangers at my wedding eating food.... odd....but good luck...I hope you get something yummy!!!

I agree that you should call.

But keep in mind if they are having you come for a tasting during someone else's wedding, they might do the same to you during your wedding.

I had my food tasting last weekend, the guys had to wear jackets and i wore a cute dress not that dressy. You will be fine wearing black pants and a nice top. DOn't worry..

your getting married at marina del rey...you do not have to worry about the food tasting it is amazing there that was my favorite place but i convinced myself that it was just too far for me to travel in november

anyway back to the food tasteing i would call and see what theY say about attire...but i would think a nice pants suit in black would be fine...
