FH and I are going to a tasting tomorrow at the Swan Club. Since this is my first tasting, is there anything that I should know?

Just make sure you are tasting the same food they will be serving at your wedding. Sounds dumb, but I know people who have tried food at their tasting that weren't even options at their wedding.

Don't eat beforehand!! I went to a tasting somewhere and FH had a late lunch that day and wasn't hungry at all. Well he missed out!!

How was it????? We went for ours on Valentine's day :) We were soooo impressed with the food, both the quality and the AMOUNT of food on the plate! We have been guests at many weddings and events and it was top 1 or 2 easily. We asked the server if that is the same portion size offered at the wedding and she said yes. The tasting sealed the deal for us, hope it did for you too!

The food tasting was great!! My FH and I were SO impressed with the food and the portions. Like KandE2013, I also asked the server if the portions we got would be the portions that the guests get at weddings because they were so big and he said yes.
I had Chicken Wellington (amazing) and FH had a steak dish (also amazing). Both dishes will be going on our wedding menu!

So glad to hear! We had the same dishes...and I asked for a small sample of the seafood newburg stuffing since I heard rave reviews about it and they brought out the whole fish entree for us :)

That's amazing! I didn't even think to ask for a small sample of the other food. Honestly, FH and I were so stuffed, I don't think we could have ate more.
