Food Tasting!!

We have our food tasting this weekend and we can't wait!!

Has anyone gone for theirs yet and have any suggestions? Am I supposed to be asking any questions/doing anything other than eating and drinking wine?

Food Tasting!!

I had mine. I didn't ask manyqnurstions but yes I had wine. They Pretty much explained each dish to us

Food Tasting!! - Long Island Weddings

We had ours. We didn't ask many questions but we did ask about Gluten free or Vegetarian alternatives since we have some family members who would need those choices.

Food Tasting!! - Long Island Weddings

I had mine over the summer. We actually ended up changing the entire menu we were originally going to go with LOL but just enjoy it and drink lots of wine! IT's such a fun experience :)

Thanks!! It was AMAZING!! The food was incredible - there was literally not ONE thing that they gave us that any of us didn't like. They gave us bottles of wine, beers - and the best part was that it was just us in our own room so it was so comfortable. Definitely got me more excited for the big day knowing the food is going to be delicious!!

I love this!! Your post last week inspired me to remind FH, his parents and my parents what's going to go down and to expect the food tasting. Our families are so different but it'll be a fun way to get together. I'm so glad you loved it and I can't wait to do mine (8 months from now)

Hi can you tell me when you had yours. Im getting married there in March, and havent tasted anything. Can you also please tell me how it was?

Basically everything. The filet mignon was AMAZING but I'm a big steak person. They gave us stuffed chicken breasts, eggplant rollitini, veal marsala, lamb, salmon, shrimp oreganato, fried calamari, chicken francese, some type of vegetable rice, asparagus...I know there were a million other things but my brain is fried right now and I can't think of it. The one thing that was my favorite was actually a side dish - it was mashed potatos served in a potato bowl that was shaped like a waffle cone dish with a fried potato piece on the top. I could have eaten that and been happy with everything! I don't eat seafood but everyone else loved it!
