Food Tasting @ Russo's...Feedback

Hey Ladies
We are going to our food tasting at Russo's tomorrow night, and just wondering how many of you have done this there. What can we expect. I do know that guys have to wear jackets and the ladies have to dress up. Is it a formal sit down? Please shed some feedback! FH and I are dying to know!!!

I posted about mine on the 'official' Russo's thread- yes you have to dress up (have to fit in with the people that are at w/e party is going on)

Meaning no jeans and no sneakers!

It's formal sit down- and go hungry!!

Here's what I had to say about the tasting! Just be prepared to be wowed!
BTW- we went on December 2nd for ours.

Just an update on the tasting- everything was FABULOUS!!! FH was very impressed (he never ate at Russo's before whereas I have).

Hugo was our waiter for the evening and answered any and all questions we had on the dishes. When the desserts (Mini Venetian) were being served, Mr. Russo himself came in and asked how everything was and answered a few questions for us as well. FH and I were treated like royalty.

I was super excited and FH was like a pig in mud literally. He went home stuffed and really not so nervous about things - which is good.

We got there a bit early - they said 9pm but we got there at 8:30pm due to the weather.
There were parties going on in all three rooms so we got to see the set up for a wedding in the Tivoli and Ren rooms- everything was so beautiful! Of course we're having the Tivoli room so I was excited to see how it's set up with the dais and such.
We left Russo's about 11:30pm-12 midnight and both of us were so very happy.

As a guest two years ago we didn't care for the food.
It could have been an off night
