Food tasting attire??

Ok so i know this is a silly question - Just curious what you girls think!

I am going to a food tasting in 2 weeks at my RH - We got a confirmation in the mail that said men had to wear a tie & jacket, and no sneakers, sweats or 'casual' attire- it didn't say anything about women....

Does this mean the ladies HAVE to wear dresses, or can we all just wear black pants with fancy tops, heels??

One of the other brides on here told me she wore a dress - but i was going to wear nice pants/top -

I emailed my banquet manager - just waiting to see her opinion

any suggestions??

Re: Food tasting attire??

I think there might be a dress code because there might be a wedding going on while you are doing the tasting. I think wearing dress pants, heels and a nice top is perfectly fine. They just don't want someone dressed down walking around where the wedding guests might be (that would be my guess).

Re: Food tasting attire??

I was sick for my second one... so I wore jeans and a hoodie... the majority of the time I went to my hall I was just getting out of dance, so I was in dance attire.

They really don't care.

I really wouldnt have thought about it but Russos specifically sent a confirmation in the mail saying no casual attire of any kind - but i didnt know if that meant NO PANTS for women....

Usually tho RH's are not strict as far as I know
