food tasting Hamlet Willow Creek

This past Sunday we had our food tasting at the Hamlet willow Creek. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome the food was since I didn't know what to expect since we booked it before it was built and didn't know anyone who personally went to a wedding there or was married there. Everyone getting married there will be pleased to know that the food was out of this world we tried many of the main courses & appetizer. The best is the Chilean Sea Bass & the Long Island Duck. the presentation was nice. The appetizers we tried the Vegtable Neopoltian, penne Pasta with sun dried tomatoes & Potato cake w/ salmon. all were good but the pasta just melted in your mouth. but the tasting excedded our expectation since we were looking for a hall with exceptional food and not just the run of the mill dishes. Food was very important to us when we choose a hall and the food was just as good as the carltun. Hope this helps any of the future brides that are deciding on a hall.

I think they are

who would post a review of food if they never posted here before?

Re: food tasting Hamlet Willow Creek

this sounds extremely fishy to me being all the bad press they have gotten with the CTHR room too small????
Why no real review

Nice to see Hamlet employees posting on LIW... How long have you been employed by them?? Do you like your job?

I did post a review- you can check it out under Hamlet Willow Creek. And for those who I noticed are uncertain- believe me when I tell you that the Hamlet Willow Creek was wonderful. Between the food and service, you will not be disappointed. I had 200 guests and the cocktail hour room fit everyone just fine (AND it rained the day of my wedding, so everyone was inside). The place is gorgeous and accommodating. The main room is beautiful. I will post pictures soon. (though they are all inside).
Other vendors that I used and was extremely happy with all of them-
Sir Oliver limos
Laurie studios
Pedestals florist
The Touch- (AWESOME!!)

Thank you for the review. I am getting married there 10/1/05 and was starting to get worried. I'm glad you enjoyed your day and hopefully you won't get as much slack now that you posted it. I am also using Sir Oliver, were you happy with them?

Re: food tasting Hamlet Willow Creek

For your info I do not work at hamlet I work @ verizon full time and Fortunoff part time, I actually come in contact with Brides all the time because of the fortuoff gift registry. I actually had many problemd with Hamlet willow creek and had to speak with the VP of food operations for the problems to be solved. I was very dissapointed with the cocktail room when I saw the hall originally and I was also the person who posted the concern originally on this website. I had my food tasting and to be perfectly honest it was a big positive for the hall because we had many problems. All of which were solved very nicely but I certainly wouldn't be telling you this if I worked for them.

I was allowed to bring 4 people. that's me & jim (fiance) and my parents. So there was 4 of us. you have to pay extra for any additional people.
