Is any one else anxiously awaiting for football season to end? I'm trying to get into it for FH but it's not working. I went to one game and was more interested in the treats I purchased. I intentionally spread my food purchases throughout the game to give myself something to look foward to. I cannot tolerate watching let alone HEARING the games on TV. I'd rather be

Re: Football
FH can't even watch the game on TV, most of the time he will put it on, looks at the score, and then turn it off. If he does watch the game he will fall asleep with in 10 to 15 min.

I wasn't that into it either before I met FH, however, he taught me all I need to know about it and sometimes I get really into the games - he really enjoys that I watch it with him. It's like a bonding experience.

FH family has season tickets. His days off are coincidentally Sun & Mon. I've tried to learn but it's not for me. I'm a Yankee's gal all the way. I also like Hockey.

Thank God FH isn't into fantasy football...but I probably have it just as bad since he's in all the college football pools! So it's non stop football from like Thursday until Sunday! I could tolerate one NFL game (I kinda like going to the bar and watching it with him), but when there are games upon games all weekend... Not to mention it makes it tough to make social plans- always gotta work around the games!

Tara I feel your pain. I don't get how men, for the most part, have such short attention span yet I'm not seeing any of this during a football season. Also, the ability to muti-task is in full force: yell at T.V., talk on cell phone to buddy about players fu up's, and make game snacks. Simply amazing!!!!

My FH played football in college so I got VERY into watching him play and the sport. Now I watch him coach football for a local school district!!! And play flag football on weekends in addition to the weekly Jets game. I like football, but it takes over my life in the fall! One of the reasons we decided not to have a fall wedding- F O O T B A L L

I went the other way with this...one of the reasons I decided to have a wedding in the fall...FOOTBALL. FH thought it was only due to the weather and my love of the burst of colors. A semi on my part. I still can't believe he agreed.
