For a strapless dress - would you recommend a strapless bra or have cups put in??

1- cups are more comfy,
2 - it really isnt your chest that holds up a strapless it is your hips.. that is the most comfortable way to get your dress to stay up, having your waist fitted the less pulling and tugging you will be doing to keep it up. if you make the top too tight to stay up, it is not very comfortable... it needs to be fitted to your waist... a seam stress once did this, i asked her to leave the chest alone and take in the waist, she ignored me and did what she wanted and i went back and it was SOOOOO uncomfortable and i was pulling my dress up at my fitting, they gave me a new seamstress and she let the top back out and took in the waist,.. SOOOO much better!

My seamstress said the same thing about the waist. I personally like the long line bra. I am a 34 D
