i've never worn a bra with a bridesmaid dress - always had cups put in and never had a problem - i am going to do the same for my wedding dress - its sooo much more comfortable and I am a 34 B also!

I had cups... then again I hate strapless bras so it was a no-brainer for me.

i tried cups put in fitst but it did not make me look natural so then I went with a long line- way too uncomfortable so i did the regular strapless and it was great... You can try both... see what looks best

Definitely cups. That's what I got and it's really comfortable.

When I tried the dress on the seamstress recommended putting cups because they fill the front out a little more. I'm still wearing something else under

I think Im going to do both cups and a strapless long-line bra. I need some added 'boost' in that area

I have a 34 B also. I went with the strapless long bra. They stay up with out tugging and pulling all night. plus they give me some cleavage!!

Re: For a strapless dress - would you recommend a strapless bra or have cups put in??
1- cups are more comfy,2 - it really isnt your chest that holds up a strapless it is your hips.. that is the most comfortable way to get your dress to stay up, having your waist fitted the less pulling and tugging you will be doing to keep it up. if you make the top too tight to stay up, it is not very comfortable... it needs to be fitted to your waist... a seam stress once did this, i asked her to leave the chest alone and take in the waist, she ignored me and did what she wanted and i went back and it was SOOOOO uncomfortable and i was pulling my dress up at my fitting, they gave me a new seamstress and she let the top back out and took in the waist,.. SOOOO much better!
