If you haven't chosen/ordered your BM dresses yet, you should get on it. I was told in October that delivery takes about 3 months, but when I placed my order yesterday, the salon said almost 4 months!!
They forgot to tell me that China basically shuts down for an entire month every January for Chinese New Year, and even if the dress isn't made in China, usually some part of the dress (beading, material, label, etc) comes from there.
So now, of course I'm freaking out. I'm sure it'll be fine, but I'm still angry about it.
Just a heads up for all the girls that thought they'd be fine also. Order your dresses now!!!

they actually told me this on the phone when i called to make my BM dress appointment for my girls. crazy!

yes they told me that about my wedding gown! I'm an August bride though so I have some time (my dress will take 4 months) my MOH works for a merchandising company and also warned me about this!

I'm just annoyed bc I have OOT BMs who will have to get alterations done in their towns and it's just more added stress that I don't need.

It will be ok! My BM just ordered their dresses about 2 weeks ago and we still made it best the rush fee kicked in for a designer that the salon told me takes on the longer side to come in (Bill Levkoff). I had no idea about China until they told me that day! Your girls still have time to order and get the dresses in on time
