You can get married at CitiField! Which, of course, doesn't have the history of Shea, but I still thought it was funny I stumbled across this (while looking for some ticket information on their website)!
I looked into it last year when I first did the virtual tour of citifield back at shea stadium (this was before we were engaged, mind you) and FH said absolutely not. Period. No discussion.
Considering I loved him then (as I do now) and did want us to get married, I laughed and said 'ok, ok, no stadium wedding' and he looked very relieved.
But believe me... I would've loved it!
This couple got married at Keyspan park in Brooklyn and I remember following their planning way back when...
