For all of you who are 'blessed' up on top!

Original post by nycchic_24

I was wondering if anyone as has ever thought about or researched about breast reductions?

I am thinking of looking into it because I have such bad neck and back problems. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know of anything you can do for some relief?? I have been in so much pain lately!

I agree some can lose weight & lose the breast fat as well.

Breast is fat.

I hear breast reductions are majorly painful & leave horrific scars!

I lost 25 pounds and my chest got smaller. Women tend to lose weight in their chest first. I also found that it helped my back when I started lifting weights. Something about building up your chest muscle to help your body carry the extra weight.

I wouldn't do the reduction. It's just not for me.

I have to say I agree with trying the weight loss, before I'd attempt surgery on my body. most people, if they lose weight, will do so in their breasts as well. when you are at your 'healthy weight', you might find more comfort. Exercise to help strengthen the muscles of your back, abs and shoulders should also help prevent the pulling forward from the weight of your breasts.
