I guess I am not the 'typical' bride and I always opposed being one since I am going to marry the man I love the most ... not the social etiquette nor people I don't know but insist on coming to the wedding.
It's not THEIR day, it's not MY day, it's OUR day...
So girls, when you plan your wedding, keep that in mind - a luscious wedding does not make a good marriage, neither do expensive gifts.
