For all who are getting Rolls Royce, etc.

I was talking to my aunt yesterday and she reminded me of when she got married about 12 years ago in September. She got into an old RR and said to the driver 'Ok air conditioning would be great right now!'

There was no air conditioning... it wasnt invented yet! So as a summer bride myself, I am disappointed because I wanted one of those Excalibur limos for after the ceremony for me and FH. I never thought of this, jsut wanted to share.

Wow, I never would have thought of that. We don't need limos because we are staying over at the Inn the night before, but that is great info for brides who still need to book!

O yea, we have heard the stories of the limos with no air conditioners..I would be a sweat ball..thanks for the heads up

Well, some of the older cars just 'look' antique-ey.....we are having a Rolls Royce, but it's not a stock car. It's a Rolls Royce on the outside but with all the new stuff inside and a new engine....so no break downs and plenty of a.c.

You can have your Rolls and a/c too!

i went to my FH cousins wedding about 3 years ago and although their RR had air conditioning.... it broke down in August no less..... they said they were so hot and sweating
i have heard this happen to a few people
for that reason... i do not reccomend an old car in teh summer months-- i hate being hot

Ohhhhh... whew! Thank goodness I can still have my Excalibur! (FH hates them but I have to convince him otherwise)

It means it's the original, antique car....it's been maintained, but it's still the original...like the ones you see at car shows, those are stock cars....everything is original as if it just came off the assembly line.

ohhhhhhhh that sounds nice too, but not nice enough to sweat my make up off though..

ok so my next question is who is using Royalty Limos and do they have air conditioning in their cars?

Stock cars are nice, but honestly, you can't even tell the difference.
I just called my limo driver to make sure and he assured me that the Rolls has dual a/c....
can you IMAGINE sitting in the back of a car in a heavy ball gown, make-up, and NO a/c??? YIKES

I had a rolls royce for my wedding and true it did not have ac and we were married in July, but it wasnt stiffling hot, it was comfortable

I am so glad this information was posted. July is not the time of year to be in a car without ac while wearing a wedding dress.

I booked Topps and I can't recommend or not because my wedding hasn't happnened yet, but the lady there told me that they get new limos every April (early) for prom season. So at least the 14 passenger one I think should have AC. If not, we're getting married late April so I'm not too worried.

Still, check it out...(the AC I mean not Topps...but you can do that too...LOL)
