Please feel free to FM me if this is too personal to put on the board. I am trying to get an idea how other companies handle employees that work on commission. If you are receiving a salary + commission, do you get your commission immediately upon getting an account or job in? Or do you have to wait to receive that until the job is paid by the client?

I work on salary + commission, and we don't get paid until the sale is delivered!

i work on commission ONLY and I dont get my check till the END of everything. Its good and bad i have to wait a long time for the money but when i get it its a nice chunck of change

i dont work on commission, but rather sales credits + salary. if i execute a trade, i enter my registration number and that feeds into a system and at the end of the year, they calculate my sales credits according to my 'ID' number and give me a nice bonus! so it's kinda like commission, but at the end of the fiscal year! can't wait!!! only a month away!!!
