What kind of flight are you taking? I know someone who took a non-stop from JFK straight to Hawaii but my travel agent is saying there is no such thing. I have a connecting flight in LA but only 45 minutes to make it. im very nervous that if the first flight is late, we dont get on the connecting flight. Is anyone taking a straight through flight? If so, what airline? Thanks!!
I haven`t booked anything yet, but I think the direct flights to Hawaii leave from Newark. In any case, they definitely exist!
Maybe you can speak with another travel agent just for comparison?
We also have a 45 minute connecting flight in LA...leavion from JFK
although you probably won't have any problems, friends of mine were late to LA and missed the flight and missed a day in Hawaii. :(
We are taking American from JFK to Los Angeles and then switching to another American plane to Maui. We then have to switch again to another plane to Kauai...The flight is something I am definitely NOT looking forward to. I plan on drinking a lot of wine and sleeping =:)
I asked my fiance and he said Continental flies from Newark to Honolulu non stop. That's the only one from the New York area that flies straight. The other ones are from Atlanta, Chicago, LA etc. The problem is it's a very long trip. I'm planning on going to Hawaii for my honeymoon next July. I'm thinking 5 nights in Kauai and 6 nights in Maui. Let me know where you're staying.
We are spending 5 nights on the big island at the four seasons and then 8 nights at the westin in maui. We just added on 2 nights in San Francisco on the way out there. You'll be in Hawaii a week after me! Where are you staying?
We are staying at the Hyatt Regency on both islands. I heard it is very nice.
