? for anyone using Pro Line

I called to make an appointment to meet with the photographer who's suppose to do my wedding(my contract says Tony). The girl I spoke to said she had to verify it and then get in touch with the photographer to find out his availability(sounded fine). Soon after, I got a call back from Ron, who told me that since it is so close to my wedding(2 months) I should just wait until about a month before to make an appointment to finalize everything--that appointment should be with him(Ron) because he does all the final appointments. I said OK and hung up the phone, but it seems kinda weird to me-like they are going to switch photographers on me. What do you think? and who's Ron?

hi jenn, i am using pro-line for my june 10th wedding. i got the same answer. ron will call the week before the wedding to make the final arrangements. this makes me a bit nervous because i like to get things done early but i am planning on calling back to try to schedule something earlier. i'm not exactly sure who ron is but he is the guy we all need to finalize with. if i find any other info out i will let you know. please do the same. congratulations nicole

I'm not sure who will be my photographer also, for my July 7 wedding. I plan on coming to New York over the Memorial Day weekend, and hopefully I can meet someone then. My engagement photos came out awesome. A woman took the pictures..she was great. I'm sure the photographer will be fine, but it does help to know in advance. Good Luck

Jenn Z, this is really weird

because I was going to post your same question today! Our wedding is July 27th and two weeks ago, when we picked up our engagement pictures, I asked a woman named Jessica if we could meet with our photographer soon. She said that would be possible, but she would have to have Ron call me to set up an appointment after checking with the photographer`s availability (which it sounds like you heard as well.) That was 2 weeks ago, and I haven`t heard back from him. The person we booked with (Joe) said that we would have Tony as our photographer but it`s not in the contract, so now I`m worried about that too. I`m going to call them this week and I`ll let you know what happens. Good luck and keep us posted.

My friend used ProLine for her wedding last year..she was very happy with them and the way her proofs came out. She too met with Ron first..she said she could have requested to meet with the photographer but did not, she met with Ron and went over the details with him. So it sounds like it is fine.
