for anyone who did slipper baskets...

what kind of slippers did you put in?- where did you find them?
All help is really appreciated.

ps- i am scouring the web right now too- so if i find anything good i will post it!

I too looked ALL over the web..found nothing.
So last week, I went 'store hopping'.

I found some cute ones in the Dollar store by my house ( Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst) and bought like 7-8 pairs but the colors were a little weird so I stopped at that amount.

Then I went to Mace's, Family Dollar , K-mart, Target and National Wholesale Liquidators..NOTHING ( or more then I wanted to spend)

FINALLY I went to Amazing Discount( used to be Odd Job - in Babylon) and found black and white ballerina like slippers for $2.99 so I bought a whole bunch there to add to the ones I had. ( gonna go to a different one to see if I can get more)

took them out of the boxes, wrapped in ribbons with a Size tag and put in a basket.

Spent about $30 and I think I have like 15-20 pairs but nice ones

The Amazing Savings in Lindenhurst had a few pairs left ( maybe 10) but mostly pink and a few black but they were all size small..I bought all different sizes. I KNOW there is another one around somewhere...gonna track it down!

I bought the cutest chinese mesh slippers, they weren't your typical slippers these had a little glitter on them and were made out of better quality, i wish I had a pic. Anyway I got them on 34th street at a shoe store right across from the LIRR...I bought 50 pairs for about $65...i totally negotiated and they gave me an awesome price so I suggest bargaining!!! These were such a hit at the wedding.

Not sure where you are located but there is another Amazing Savings on Larkfield and Jericho Trpke in East Northport area. I'm not sure if they have the slippers though.
