How much is too much to ask BM to pay for their dress? I know there are some dresses then can be 400-500$and that is a bit ridiculous!

Yeah that is too much to ask your bm's to pay...I would say to keep it under 300

yeah i would def. keep it under 300...i am actually going to try to keep it under 200, i just feel bad making them spend so much. If it goes higher than 200 i might foot the extra bill.

isnt that even a bit expensive? i guess that i would really only want them to spend like 100$ but i have not seen dresses in that price range that i like......

yes 300 is expensive, and i also want to keep my bm's at under 200 lol...I just said that bc of the example given...i also said that bc alot of times, after shoes and other accessories it can come out to a little over 200...But i dont plan on getting near $300. If i do i will pay the extra charges for my bm's.

yeah I know someone that was a BM and had to pay $450 for her dress. I think my MOH paid about that for her wedding dress so its a good possibility she would end our 20 year friendship if I asked her to pay that much lol (not that I would anyway!!!)

i had to pay around 300$ for a BM for my FSIL wedding, and i thought it was alot, plus shoes and everything else.

I think thats a lot of money for a dress they will prob never wear again. My FSIL picked our dresses out and they were only about 160.00 and we all loved it! Just keep looking and you will find BEAUTIFUL dresses at really reasonable prices.

Well I was going to stay at under $150, the dresses I want are $265 (before the discount I'l recieve, b/c I bought my dress their too)

This is almost double what we wanted to ask the bp to spend, but so far we're way under budget for a few things:

-my dress
-my DJ


so If we compensate the difference for all the girls (if need be) we'll still be under budget


* this is the color & acessories I want my girls in, same dressbut they'll have a choice of the top of the dress

im not going over 150... i dont think theres a need.. my moh dress may be 165.

I am definitely gonna try to stick around 200 for the dresses but hopefully more towards 150... im trying to keep this as cheap as possible.
