?? For brides getting married on a holiday weekend...

I met with a photographer a few weeks ago who said that there was a $250 extra fee for them to shoot my wedding because it is labor day weekend. She said 'You'll find that no matter who you book.' Funny, she's the only one who's mentioned it.

Has anyone expereienced this? Are the vendors adding in the extra fee when they quote me without telling me or is this lady wrong?

Try FMing LaurenLuvsTJ - she got married Memorial Day weekend and she could add insight to this.

Or October Bliss who was married Columbus Day weekend.

I'm getting married Thanksgiving weekend....I don't know if that really constitutes a holiday weekend, but I wasn't charged any extra.

I got married Columbus day weekend and My photographer or any of my vendors for that matter did not charge me extra

We are getting married Memorial Day weekend and none of our vendors mentioned an extra fee for it being a holiday weekend. That is odd.

im getting married ON july 4th... and i dont know/dont think i was charged extra, even if most vendors were to charge you extra i doubt they would tell me, they would just incorporate that amount in to whatever final price their giving me... none of my vendors said that upfront.....

One florist told me he needed to pay his people time and a half for the holiday. I don't believe it though personally.

Hey date twin! I have all my vendors booked other than a DJ and I haven't received any 'up charges' because of the holiday weekend. That BS!

Same here....although I did have some vendors tell me that they don't work that weekend.

We are also getting married on Memorial Day weekend and not one vendor has mentioned this.
