If you are having your hair and makeup done at the catering hall or at home, are you tipping the hairdresser and makeup artist on top of their fee?

they are coming to my home and I'm tipping them 20%

I tipped both on top of their fee and they were both the owners.

I didn't think so, because the money is going right to them..they are coming to the hall, they are doing 4 peoples hair and 6 people make-up and walking out the door with $600 each...maybe I'm wrong, I didn't think a tip was required...

I wouldn't feel right not tipping them. JMO.

I will be tipping my make up artist, however, my hair stylist is also a BM in my wedding and I know she will not take a tip after a while of arguing. (lol).....but I will definitely offer, and if she doesnt, I will buy her something.....as she well deserves it.....shes doing everyones hair.....but shes also our hair stylist so it works out.

I tipeed the hairdresser (well my mom did) and the makeup artists is a close friend of mine. I knew that she wouldn't take money so I bought her a gift instead.
