For brides using Gray Studios for photos...

I just went on Saturday to pick up my parent albums, extra 5x7's and proof the final pictures for our bridal album, and I was floored! The photos are so much more vivid and stunning in larger sizes (compared to the 5x5' proofs)!

Gray did a fantastic job printing the photos. Our 11x14 wall portrait is so stunning, that I think Gray should sell it to Port Jeff Country Club for advertisements! Gray also gave us an 'extra' 10x10 photo for free - it happens to be a pic of us smooching on the outdoor deck with the sun setting in the background - breathtaking! I am so happy with the way it turned out, and that means alot b/c I was initially disappointed in our proofs.

I am very excited to get our album now. We chose a more expensive leather (leave it to me and my champagne tastes!), and chose the 'branding' option on the cover, which means they emboss our names and wedding date without any gold or silver lettering.

Also, I wanted to mention...while I was in the studio, I got to look at a new type of wedding album that they are just now beginning to offer. It is nothing like anything you have ever seen before. It looks more like a yearbook than a wedding album, and of course it is thousands more expensive. Each page is thick - like cardboard, not paper. It has a glossy finish. There are many photos on each page in all different sizes. Some photos are even printed as the background to the whole page. It's so hard to explain b/c it's so new, but it was beautiful. If you have the budget, you might want to check it out. If I had the choice last year, I might have picked it. But, my husband wasn't that crazy about it.
