For brides who did bathroom baskets...

Im just curious, did anyone walk off with things or the basket....

My mom doesnt want to do this bc she thinks someone will just take things out of it at the end of the night. She REFUSES to even let me buy a tide pen!

My mom wants to do it. But to be honest I am worried about the same thing. So she is doing a really nice one for the bathroom in our bridal suit and then another one for the main bathroom. So if they take anything I already have a back up.

We had one.. I did mainly mints and candy. Then hand cream, bandaids, needle and thread kit and hairspray. Bought all travel size stuff from BBB.. The basket was from amazing savings and then I wrapped tulle around it to make it look nicer..

I came home with most of it.. The candy went well..

Keep in mind that if you get married at a hall where there is more than one wedding at a time or if there is a restaurant at the hall.. other people will be using your bathroom stuff!

well, we had a basket in both the mens and ladies rooms. at the end of the night, i had both baskets, and most stuff from the ladies basket, but the men's basket was emptied out. people had no idea that they weren't 'favors' even though I had put a nice little poem/sign in the basket clearly saying 'use only what you need and leave the rest.' If i had to do it again, I would not have done it. It was in the end a waste of money. I used it for myself (had a splitting headache hit me mid-way through dinner), but that was it.

I did not do bathroom baskets.
I had my own supply of stuff that I might need.
If my guests had needed anything, they could have asked.

My decision not to have bathroom baskets is based on my own personal use - I have never used anything out of a bathroom basket, nor have my close friends. Somehow the idea skeeves me.
