? for brides who did or are planning to do DIY card box
what material did you use to wrap the boxes? wrapping paper/paper or cloth or something else?
i've been looking around and there are a lot of beautiful wrapping papers around... but there are certain shades that i like that is only available in silk cloth...
what did you use to glue it in? tape/glue gun? etc?
any and ALL ideas/tips on how to DIY the cardbox, please share! this will be my very first DIY for my wedding!
TIA!!!
p.s. ohh... would you mind sharing photos of your cardbox projects please???

Find boxes that are already decorated! It makes things really easy. I found some at the Christmas tree store that fit my theme but Michaels has a bunch as well. Edit: Added Pic

I plan on finding fabric at Michaels or a fabric store by my house. I'm going to use a hot gun glue and some creativity...lol

Re: ? for brides who did or are planning to do DIY card box
My mom made mine and she used fabric and glue. It came out incredible! I had shown her a pic from I think FTMB , and she saw it and said I can do better, and she did! unfortunately since my wedding didn't happen, I don't have any pics and it's in the attic packed away. She bought boxes from Michaels, and fist she covered them with a thin layer of batting, then put the fabric on.

I made 2.. the blue and silver one was my practice and the red one is the one I will be using for my engagement party.
I used wrapping paper to wrap the boxes then I used ribbons and different decorations for it.
It's pretty easy & I love making them. I am actually making one for my friends wedding in a few months!
