For brides who've lost their Grandmother

This was last weeks For Better or Worse comic strip and I wish I had seen it the week of the wedding. It would have made me feel so much better that my Grandmother wasnt there with us.

I hope it helps bring comfort to the brides who are missing their Grandmother.

GinaZ, I hope you like it cuz I know you actually wore your grandmothers gown for your wedding.

if i saw that on my wedding day i think that i would loose it!!
My grandma helped raise me and it was so sudden when we lost her. I mean, i talked to her 6 hrs before. It hurts so much that she isnt going to be there.

my grandma didnt die suddenly she was already really sick so that must have been so hard for you! my grandma raised me too so she was my 2nd mom. she died in march so the wedding planning between then and may i was wondering what she would have done or thought about everything and i was sad that she was missing it. i like this strip because it made me realize she was there in a way.

Going for my fitting today and remembering my grandma....this made me laugh and cry.

She isn't with me physically..........but she is sitting on my shoulder like an angel!

I lost my paternal grandmother in March of this year. I am still devastated. Yesterday, was her birthday, so I went to the cemetary with a pot of flowers, a Happy Birthday balloon, an Irish flag and an American flag. I wish she would be here physically for my wedding.

I just lost my Grandmother on 2/14/08, yes, Valentines Day. Its killing me that I wont be able to see her on my Wedding day but I know she will be there looking down at us.

Totally just teared up reading this!
My grandmother is ill and we are all hoping she will make it to my wedding. Even if she doesn't, we'll definitely know that she's there in spirit. Thanks for posting this!

That totally made me tear up. If it wasent for my grandmother I wouldn't be able to have this wedding. It is her money I am using to pay for it. I am going to cut a piece of her dress and sew it in mine. miss you grammy
