are you guys as stressed and overwhelmed as I am? I thought if I did as much as I could early on, got everything lined up early, I would be in a pretty comfy position right now.

It's soooo not true! I still have to take care of so much. The last minute DIYs are killing me. All week I've been working on the program (full catholic mass), the place cards, and the favor bottles (washing and sticking little personalized stickers on them and capping..)

I bought all the supplies a while ago, and STILL I managed to have to go to staples, michaels, and a stationary store about 5 times in the last week.

This weekend, the first dress fitting for both me and mom, and getting the wedding bands engraved. Next week, having the priest proofread my program, and then printing /assembling.
All this while working full-time!

when will it end????

Are you in a similar situation?

I am stressed now more than ever b/c FI and I just bought a house - so we are in the process of gutting it, buying everything for it and still trying to save for the wedding.

It has been a little crazy.

Absolutely! It's not so much the DIY things that stress me. I know my weaknesses so I paid for someone else to do the typical DIY stuff like place cards, menus, card box., ect

All the appointments, mine and BM dress fittings, vendor follow-up and RSVP's are stressing me most now

I suppose it all comes with the territory.

nervous yet anxious!!! Ive been engaged for a reallyyy long time its like enough already lets get married and move on with our lives already!!!

I was so stressed the other day that I picked up the phone and hired a coordinator to help me for the last month of the wedding. Now it's just little things that are annoying but not crazy.

So glad this thread made. I thought I was the only one. I totally know why people elope and wished I was one of them. However the past three days have been fruitful. I finally wrote 'the list' of all the things that need to be done. I have spent 1000 on ebay in the last two days. I called to find out if my dress was in. It was ( so much for the call that everyone gets). I know it will be over in four months, I can't even wait. Between putting my grandmother in a nursing home, finding out a close relative is a full blown alcholic, looking for a house, and planning this wedding, its a miracle I'm still breathing. Just under four months, I cant wait.

I'm not really overwhelmed just sick of wedding stuff. I can't wait till the end of next month! We don't have much left to do but I can't wait to just be married.

Ditto. FH has no tux and is too busy at work to go buy/rent one. He still hasn't picked up his ring. I think I'm going to say f* it to programs unless I get inspired at some point. Need to work on OOT baskets, maps, just had a last minute substitution in the BP, and I can't find shoes to save my life. This weekend is my shower and I'm basically going to be shuttling people all over Queens and Long Island (doesn't sound like fun to me). My latest anxiety is thinking that when April 1st comes, all hell is going to break loose.

sorry to post this twice, but to add to the last minute stresses, my china registry just vanished. I just spent all afternoon arranging a new registry.... this time at bloomies....
