for DIY Vistaprint STDs, where to find envelopes?

I ordered and received my STDs from Vistaprint a few days ago. I customized one of their free business cards, and today I got the magnet backings from Staples, thanks to the suggestion from an LIW bride.

Where can I find envelopes to fit these? How should I present them to send them out? Backing cardstock?

I just went through hell with those!!! Whatever you do -- do NOT use florist card envelopes. I was told at the post office that I could if I used a 58 cent stamp. So I did. When I dropped them off at the post office the clerk told me that they were not mailable. I cried (I stayed up all night trying to figure out how to make labels and do that mail merge thingy). He asked someone in the back and said he'd try to mail them for me, but that I would most likely be getting them all back in my mailbox very, very soon.

A friend received hers today, but there's no guarantee on the others. I would go with size 4 envelopes. Someone gave me those as a backup. They are the smallest mailable size. I've been told that you can find them at party stores, but that you may need to buy a few sets of party invites or thank-you cards and just use the envelopes. It stinks, I know, but it will save you the hassle I'm going through.

Vista Print was good in terms of price and quick delivery, but other companies also either mail them for you or provide envelopes. We had them do the business card sized magnets and they look great!

I'm so sorry you had all that trouble! I'd be upset too if they told me yes and then said no!!

Thanks for the advice! I was looking at all the envelopes in Staples, and couldn't find anything size-appropriate. It dawned on me that while I'm trying to save money where I can, maybe certain DIY projects may not be meant to be!

I got mine at Staples!!
