Re: For everyone who printed their own envelopes.....
We did labels in the past for other invites. Yes, you should use excel. I can help you if you want. Do you know how to do a mail merge? This will help you with all of your names and addresses. Once we did the mail merge, we used Avery Clear labels and you can get those at Staples.

We use labels for our invitation envelopes. We use Avery and they have a web site to set it up. Very helpful. You can get the labels at Staples.

I printed mine directly onto the envelopes, using the mail merge as well.

Re: For everyone who printed their own envelopes.....
I cut a bunch of paper into the exact size of my envelope to use for practice. The I went onto word and just played around with size and placement. They came out pretty good.

We are printing directly on the envelope in word. Using a mail nerge from our master list in excel! Much easier than it sounds

does anyone have a template in excel for their guest list that they can email to me? If so, FM me and I will give you my email address.

I did them one by one, it took a long time but I wanted to make sure all was perfect.

I'm trying to print directly onto the envelopes, but they keep getting jammed in the printer. How did you avoid this? What kind of printer did you use?

Re: For everyone who printed their own envelopes.....
I did a excel spread sheet then imported it into word as a mail merge into the correct size envelope.
How are you printing your envelope? It should be short side feed not longways this way the flap doesnt curl up.
