I had the florist make them. I was afraid I wouldn't have enough time to make good ones, or I'd mess them up!

Hi, Valerie!!!!!!!! I LOVEEEEEEE THE BOWDABRA!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you made any swags with it yet? That's next on my list!!!!!! I bought some eucalyptus, to make swags for Donna and Debi, using the ribbons and starfish from Donna's BM bouquet, plus an extra BM bouquet left over, from Debi's June Wedding. I got a video with my Bowdabra, that tells how to do it. Mary MOB

Hi, Kate!!!!!! Oh, you wouldn't mess them up!!!!! The Bowdabra makes beautiful bows!!!!!!! I got tired of spending $4/5 to buy fancy bows. If I can do it, anyone can!!! Mary MOB

Right now technically the Florist is making something for my pews... but we are going to cancel that.. and FMIL is going to make something for us. She is crafts! And it will be more special that way.

I'm buying long tin buckets from Michael's and putting a pretty ribbon around them so they can hang at the end of the pew...then the florist is going to insert hydrangeas into them. I saw the idea in Martha Stewart mag last year but can't seem to find the pic now....

I found nice onces on ebay for like 25 for 24 of them! So I may get those...otherwise I'll make them...I have that bow making machine..but I always screw it up! LOL

I made the swag years ago when I managed a gift basket business. All the bows and other items are easy, you just have to be patient and realize that the first few are not going to be perfect.Since I won't have pews I have no room for swags. Hmmmmm, may on my FH and my reception chair. Have to think this one through.

I've made so many bows that I can't do it without the Bowdabra but it goes a lot faster with it. I was going to buy the big puffy ribbon with the wire edging but I think I'm going to tone it down and use 2 inch double faced satin with tails to the ground instead. Keep us posted when you try the swags. Send pics please!

Oh no I havent even thought about it!! I will have to consult the girl who is getting married before me in the church and figure something out.

My friend's mom made beautiful ones for her wedding. They are in my album under Gina (jgl) wedding.
