How much time do you and FH get to spend together during the week? Does FH work on L.I?
well i live in queens and work in jersey city actually, fh also lives in queens and works in the city, queens, upstate hes an engineer and has alot of locations to go to on certain days.
He gets out earlier than me but we still get to spend alot of time during the week. Either i meet him by his house around 5:30-6pm and then head to my house to stay the night or ill go straight home and he'll get to my house around 7pm to spend the night. He spends most weekdays sleeping over, sometimes 5 out of the 5 days and other times 3-4 out of the 5 weekdays

We don't spend a lot of time together during the week and its a bummer. His job requires him to be at work by 5:30am so hes not one to be up all that late and I dont get home til 6:15, by the time Im done eating dinner its like almost 7:30 and then its too late to spend any kind of quality time with each other. It stinks but it also makes our time together on the weekends that much more enjoyable!! And plus it gets me super excited to finally live with him next year.

We both work in the city and we live together in the city too, so we spend a lot of time together...we are both home by 6:30 each night.

i dont live with fh but he practically lives at my house since hes here about 5-6 days a week. Fh gets home before me, but usually he'll eat a sandwich when he gets home but thats his lunch and then we eat dinner together.

i just switched departments and had to relocate to nyc....
we live together in li...and fh works in li
we get up together and leave around the same time...i get home...make dinner...he comes home for dinner (since he works close to our apt)...and then goes back to work. but he works crazy long hours..except for friday cuz the market is closed at 4 and the week is over.
so we have from the time he gets home (usually 8-9pm) until we go to bed (10-11pm).
but we do try to eat dinner together unless we cant.

Yes. Usually we'll talk before he leaves about what we want to eat that night......he'll stop at the store when he gets off the train and get whatever we need. I get home an hour and a half after him...usually around 6:30. Then I cook and we eat. He does the dishes. I hate dishes.

sadly only like 2 hrs to 3hrs a night .... and all day sunday... he works in the bx and i go to school in LI ...so we only have our nights

I work in the city, FH on LI, and we live together in Great Neck. He gets out of work at 5 and it takes him less than 15mins to get home (I'm jealous!). I work til 6 usually, so I don't get home til 7. He hates waiting for me to eat b/c he likes to eat earlier, but I tell him to just get over it. He wants me to get a job on LI so I can get home earlier to cook for him.

VERY VERY little. I get on a train around 8, and get home around 11pm between work and school, so weekends when we would see each other I am running around doing errands.
Though that will be changing soon, so we may see each other some more

I work in the city and Fh works in suffolk- we live together in queens. He leaves between 5:30-6AM and I leave at about 7:45. He gets home WAYYY earlier than me, anytime between 2-5 depending on his day. I don't get home until 6:45-7:17. We spend every night together and eat dinner together.

I'm glad it's not just me then. Do your FH's want you to work on the island? I get home around 7:00 during the week. Sometimes we eat together and sometimes he eats with his family. We have from 7:00 until about 10 or 11 together. He gets home at 4:30 though....lucky him!

ha ha 10 mins maybe! no joke! I work in the city, really late hours and he works on LI pretty late hours and he works weekends!!! So tops maybe 20 hrs a week! and we live together!!!!

I work in the city, FH works in Suffolk. We don't live together, so we don't see each other at all during the week.

We both work downtown Manhattan and sometimes meet for lunch. I get home like 1/2 later than him and he waits for me to come and make dinner. It wasnt always a habit for me to eat at nights but now he expects it
