How much time do you and FH get to spend together during the week? Does FH work on L.I?

FH and I do live together, his job right now is in NY so he leaves around 5:00 am and gets home before me, i am usually home by 6:00/6:30 and he def. waits to eat because I'm usually cooking! Figure we get to spend a few hours a night but again it is rough he is usually tired from being up so early and i like to stay up so our weekends is when we are able to have the quality time.

Have you all discussed where you are going to live once you get married? WIll you still work in the city?
I'll continue working in the city, so our two non-negotiables when we're house shopping is it can't be beyond Zone 7 of the LIRR and near a train station.
FH actually doesn't mind.

we both live and work in the city, i get home before FH, i do all the cooking, so he eats when he gets home, but i wait for him to get home so we can all eat together.

FH and I have lived together for the past 21/2 years. My job is in NYC, but it is flexible. When I am at my office (about twice a week), I leave the house about 7:30AM and he is still in bed When I work in the boros, then I will leave the house around 9:00am and sometimes he is leaving for the gym or still sleeping unless he has to go to court or has a pressing issue to take care of.
My job entails traveling within the boros to different locations. He is an attorney and owns his own firm. Most of the time he works from home, but has an office in the city.
When I get home from work, he will either have made dinner or waits for me to. We always have dinner together and go to sleep together. I also have an 11 year old daughter who I need to spend time with as well.

FH and I live together but we never see eachother! I think that's why we're so happy with eachother!!
I work in the city and leave by 7pm...get home around 8...he works on LI from 4p-12a Wed-Sunday! It's a bummer, but we make it work
Plus he's in a band and rehearses every Monday night!
