For girls getting married at the RH

How many of you who are getting married at the rh are seeing your fh beforehand for pics?

thats like my one thing that i'm completely against.. i just always pictured walking down the aisle and that being the first time we see each other. i know the photographer makes it special and everything but its not what i want.
i just feel like everyone keeps trying to talk me out of it bc we'll be stressed with time for pics, we'll miss the cocktail hour, etc..
what are all of you doing?

As much as I was against it, I didn't wanna miss CH to take the pictures then. So we're going to take pictures before. I think a lot of girls are doing there's before.

I'm seeing FH before the ceremony. I dont wanna miss the CH! But if you really dont want to seee him before then dont! Its your wedding so you should do what you want!

We are taking our pictures ahead of time. However, this is an extremely personal decision. You should do what you want to do. For us, it is important to go to our cocktail hour and enjoy every minute of the day we can with our friends and family and we decided it was okay to see each other ahead of time. Again, totally a personal decision and you have to do whatever makes you feel good!

we are doing pics before my FH said ' i'am no missing my CH there is way to much food' and that is why i love him lol

i am going to miss 30 min of my cocktail hour . fh is set on not seeing me until i walk down the aisle plus we want the day to be very laid back just chillin with our friends and fam before hand we do not want to travel anywhere except to location

yeah its just something that i've always wanted.. just wanted to make sure i'm not being stupid for not budging on this lol. i'd love to be at the ch but the walking down the aisle thing is more important to me.

I'm seeing FH for pictures before and we're attending our entire CH. I really didn't want to but it just wasn't feasible with the quick time line (ceremony 5:30, then cocktail hour from 6-7, then reception) to fit pictures in after the ceremony. I'm going to ask that FH and I have a few minutes alone before we move into pictures. I wish I could see him for the first time down the aisle, but even my mom was like 'you've been seeing each other for 10 years already!' :)

I am getting married at the RH and we are in the same situation. FH and my family are against me seeing him before the ceremony. Well the photog said that one hour should be enough ... and honestly, if I dont go to the CH I wouldnt die because my Rh is bringing me all the food thats at the CH to our bridal suite so we will get to taste the food

we are sleeping together the night before... prob even getting ready together.... so yes, we'll def be taking pics beforehand... we're not very traditional

We saw eachother before the ceremony -- for pictures, and to sign the ketubah. We would have had to sign the ketubah anyway so it just made sense to do pictures first too.

We did a little over 2 hours of pictures before the ceremony (formals, portraits, BP, family shots, etc) and then signed the ketubah, then the ceremony. after the ceremony we spent 25 min together in the bridal suite and then went down to the second half of our CH. Wish we had more time in the CH but the time alone was really nice as well.

We took a few more pictures between the CH and reception (as people were switching rooms and we were waiting for our entrance) and I still wished we had more time for pictures!

Probably? We haven't gotten that far but i'm not missing my cocktail hour! (I eat alot!)

i am...and at first i was against seeing FH but then we talked and thought it was just a better idea so we and everyone else could enjoy cocktail hour

We are seeing each other before the ceremony to do pictures...im not ok with missing CH and neither is FH so we are doing our pictures then!

i agree with you ... i dont want to see him before the ceremony! the part i look foward to the most is watching his face as i come down the aisle ... sooo i dont care what we have to do or what we have to miss to keep that one tradition alive.... i think we are going to get there early and take pictures with the bridal party (like without eachother) and than miss part of th e cocktail hour. we'll see!
