How many of you who are getting married at the rh are seeing your fh beforehand for pics?
thats like my one thing that i'm completely against.. i just always pictured walking down the aisle and that being the first time we see each other. i know the photographer makes it special and everything but its not what i want. i just feel like everyone keeps trying to talk me out of it bc we'll be stressed with time for pics, we'll miss the cocktail hour, etc.. what are all of you doing?

We don't want to miss any of the CH so we are going to pics before the ceremony!!! I always thought I would be seen walking down the Aisle but by having an interfaith ceremony I hhave learned that other traditions are more important. As long as I can see his face when he sees me for the first time I am ok with it!!!

I am! I'm actually looking forward to seeing him before hand b/c I think it'll relax my nerves. But you should do what you feel comfortable with.

i am taking pics at my house w the girls, then going to the beach and thats where FH and i will MEET, then we will take pics there then go to RH and take more..then start the ceremony

We are seeing each other before the ceremony to do pictures. I think that it will be special.

I feel the same way you do. The first time I wanted to see FH is walking down the aisle. But I am getting a lot of pressure from the photographers and FH to just do the pics before the ceremony.
We decided that we would take individual pics and pics with the girls/pics with the guys first and then do pictures with us and our families and the whole bridal party after.
This was we can get a good portion of them done so we can make the last half of our cocktail hour.
It's a hard decision, because you don't want to miss any of your wedding!
And I might end up changing my mind as we get closer. We'll see...

My photographer told me that as long as everyone is organized and together- the pics should only take 20 min. to do after the ceremony. Plus- i also have an hour and a half CH- it was only $3 more pp.
