For girls giving DOJ as gifts for BM's

Are you telling them in advance that you're buying their jewelry? I am buying necklaces and purses for my girls, so I kind of want to let them know in advance so they don't feel like they need to buy their own. But, is it wrong to tell them what their gift is before I give it to them? I'm a bit confused!

I actually never thought of that. I don't think my girls would go out and buy something particular for the wedding..if anything they'd find something they already have.. (all my BM's have kids and money's tight)

But if you feel they will go out and buy something..definitely tell them 'listen..don't buy any DOJ' and just leave it at that. They will know..but at least they will be surprised and what it looks like.
they'll appreciate it no matter when they find out.

I got my girls necklaces but they pretty much have an idea b/c I had to ask them what size they usually wear. (16'or 18')

I think most people assume they are getitng jewelry unless someone tells them otherwise. I think the only reason you'd say something is if you needed them to buy jewelry.
