my gyno told me the same thing, skip the placebo pills and keep going. however, you have to do this at least three months prior to when you want to skip your period. so for example, my wedding is june 12 (my HM is going to be about 4 weeks long, so i will have my period during that time)
in March when i start my new pack of pills and it ends, you have th skip the placebo pills and start a new pack. essentially i will do this for 3 packs in a row and by the time June rolls around, i will be able to skip my period and have no intermittent bleeding in between.
before anyone does this, i would check with your gyno first and make sure you are mediaclly ok to do this. just keep in mind that if you get the green light to do this from your doc, you shouldn't do this all the time and abuse it and you should expect light bleeding in between periods for the first few months whjile your body adjusts to the changes.
my HM will be about 4 weeks long and i will get my period the week before my wedding and then again during the last week of my HM. We plan on trying to get preggers right after we come back from our HM so i don't want to mess around doing this. Condoms it is that last week!
