Your florist should provide petals and this should be included in the package for your flowers. My flowers provided petals and they also provided flowers in a little cup that remained in the basket after my flower girl threw her petals.
Our florist - Flowers By Burton provided petals in a beautiful basket for our flower girl to throw down the aisle. We also had ordered 2 large bags of petals for our petal cones, (Made by our DOC) which were thrown after we left the church. HTH
We didn't do this, but I was a BM in a friends wedding over the summer, and I'm pretty sure her florist provided the flowers for this, I can check with her and let you know for sure.
I did it, and our florist wanted 60.00 dollars for flower petals. I went to costco the day before my wedding got two dozen roses pulled the petals, put them in a basket and put them in the fridge. Cost me 14.00 bucks and they looked awesome, 2 dozen roses gave me plenty of petals I had about 70 people at the church.
