For girls who bought bm dresses online, where are your girls getting them altered?
The dress i want is $275
Phyliss can give it to me for $200 and alterations capped at $60 (if i buy it elsewhere, alterations there will be much higher there)
I found it online(netbride) for $150

I got my BM dresses from pearlsplace.com and the girls are just taking them to local seamstresses in their area. It came out cheaper that way for everyone.

yup pearls place is a great place too. They were only 1 dollar higher than netbride
can i ask, at a local seamstress, how much is the alterations running for your bms?

i ordered my BM dresses off netbride as well and the girls are going on their own to get them altered. It shouldnt be more than $50-$100 i think.

have u gone there in person?? sometimes shes easier to get down in price
she went down to 106 on my dress...and she org. told me 155

I will know on Saturday....but I think they have been quoted between $40-60 each.......It also depens on how much altering has to be done.....I know my one BM ordered a 10 but shes' been training for a marathon and has gone down 2 sizes so her's will be pricey

I was a bm once, and my friend ordered online and I took it to a local seamstress on route 107, Hickville and I only spent $30 for alteration, and she did a very nice job (I only needed to make the cup size smaller)
