For girls who did/are having makeup done

Time just appears to be flying by and now I keep coming up with more and more questions. If you have your makeup done do they give you the lipstick to use for the rest of the day? How are you supposed to keep replying? Do I have to go buy my own and bring it? I don't usually wear makeup...my patients don't really care if my lips are sparkly or not

I am buying my own lipstick so I have it to reapply. That is what my makeup person suggested.

When I went for my trial, I bought the lipstick from her so I had it with me.

i bought it from my make up artist on the day of. i never wear lipstick or gloss, just chapstick for everyday, so i didnt know what to buy. she had a few cause she knew that brides would need to bring it with them to reapply. it was only $12 and my DOC would reapply it when i needed it.

Thanks. I will call my makeup artist and make sure she has one I can buy from her that day. I would have no idea what to get if I just walked into a makeup store.

I am going to buy lipstick from Jacqueline Nicole the day of the wedding, so I can re-apply throughout the day.

I got my makeup done for a friend's wedding and the makeup artist left lipstick/gloss/liner for the bride :) You should ask ahead of time so you'll know if you need to have your own, buy it from her or if she'll give it to you! I think if you pay a lot of $ it should be included!!!!

My makeup artist suggested buying a MAC lipstick, since she used MAC for the rest of my makeup. So I bought my own, and she applied it. I retouched it throughout the night (when I remembered).
