In all we invited 171 and as of right now we have 102. With the economy and some of the married ladies coming without their DH's it really killed us. We had about 20 OOT and they arent coming.

did u expect alot more people to say yes? we had about 125 invited to our engagement party and i think less than 10 rsvped no. so i dont know what to expect for the wedding, im assuming alot will say yes, but im not really sure.

I thought we would have atleast 120-140 but, I was wrong. Some of our long time friends arent coming and could come up with a real reason.

We invited 127 and expected about 100-108 and it looks like we are going to have exactly 100 which is ok by me![]()

We expected very few no's and I'm starting to get worried because only a week after sending out invites we already got 8 no's and we have to guarantee 200 and only invited 205 to begin with!![]()

Thanks I'm hoping so! I wasn't completely shocked, it's not any family or close friends...so far at least, but I was surprised at a few like my mom's boss who has come to previous parties (engagement, sisters sweet 16, other co-workers children's weddings).
Right now our decline rate is 35% of those we invited (invited a total of 232) and I expect that to go up. I think they typically say that 20-25% don't come. So no, I wasn't expecting that many 'no's' and I got a lot of no's form people I didn't expect to.
Im fine now with the turnout, moeny wise and we just made the min. but, disappointed in some of the people that arent coming.

As of right now we have about a 30% decline rate.
we invited 310 and only 210 came ... 100 people said NO!!! THANK GOD ... i dont know how we would have been able to pay or fit another 100 people! plus we got married on a holiday so a lot of people couldnt make it ... which was fine with us because everyone who we wanted (all the important family members and friends were all there)
